Internet Customer Service Representative

Bayshore Ford, a locally owned and operated dealer for the last 42 years is expanding! We are looking for an Internet Customer Service Representative to join our team. Internet Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internet sales leads and inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Meeting sales goals and objectives as set by Sales Manager
  • Coordinate with webmaster to update website and to create Internet promotions and advertisements
  • Scheduling appointments with interested buyers for test drives and delivery of vehicles
  • Disclosing terms of sales with consumers and reviewing sales with dealership management
  • Preparing sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival, ensuring that the customer understands their vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork
  • Perform all job duties in a professional manner and promote Bayshore Ford
  • Spot on professional phone presence and etiquette

Parts Counter

Bayshore Ford/Western Star/Fuso/Quick Lane, servicing customers since 1976, is growing once again. We are looking for Experienced Parts Counter Personnel in our busy Commercial Vehicle Dealership. 



Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Pulls and fills orders
  • Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts/materials that need immediate attention
  • Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary
  • Notifies the service advisor and/or customer when special ordered parts arrive
  • Follows up on back ordered parts
  • Assists outside sales representatives with their orders
  • Keeps current on new products and product updates


Job Requirements


  • Commercial truck and/or automotive industry experience preferred
  • Positive interaction with customers in person and via telephone are a must
  • Can do attitude
  • Ford and/or Medium to Heavy truck parts knowledge preferred but not necessary
  • Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Must be willing to submit and pass a background check and drug screen

Service Technicians (Full Time)

Light Duty and Heavy Duty Technicians

Responsibilities:

  • Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards

  • Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

  • Diagnoses, maintains and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning

  • Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

  • Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications


Qualifications:

  • 2 years of technical experience preferred

  • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Basic Computer skills

  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

2nd Shift / Automotive Shop Foreman (Full Time)

Bayshore Ford Truck Sales, servicing customers since 1976, is growing once again and we are expanding our Service Departments. We are seeking a Shop Foreman with a minimum of 5 year hands on experience in the automotive and/or truck industry. 


Responsibilities of Shop Foreman:


  • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem 
  • If additional work is needed, explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time consideration
  • Handle telephone inquires regarding work in progress and return phone messages promptly
  • Be responsible for quality control to ensure that work is completed as requested and to reduce comebacks
  • Be up-to-date on technical and performance information
  • Know the product well enough to answer characteristic and operational questions regarding the customers vehicle
  • Oversees the management and daily operations as it relates to the technicians in the service department
  • Ensures all service level targets are met or exceeded
  • Manages and mentors staff
  • Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
  • Guarantees customer satisfaction in all areas
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements for Shop Foreman:


  • Minimum of 5 years automotive and/or heavy truck experience 
  • Strong computer skills
  • Safety oriented
  • Excellent customer service and communication, including ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task and able to manage time in fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or higher, automotive training a plus
  • Flexible with hours and schedules

Responsibilities:


  • Advise customers on the care of their vehicles and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufactures' specifications, using maintenance menus
  • Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner, let customers who are waiting in line know that they will be helped soon
  • Schedule appointments
  • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem
  • Obtain customer and vehicle data
  • If additional work is needed, explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time consideration
  • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments, and return phone messages promptly
  • Follow-up progress of each repair order during the day
  • Be responsible for quality control to ensure that work is completed as requested and to reduce comebacks
  • Interpret warranty information and policies to customers
  • Identify RO's that require special handling such as rush, customer waiting, special problem, comeback
  • Be up-to-date on technical and performance information
  • Know the product well enough to answer characteristic and operational questions regarding the customers vehicle


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an Automotive Service Advisor
  • Computer and phone literate
  • High School Diploma or higher, automotive training a plus
  • Flexible with hours and schedules
  • Stable career with previous employers
  • Must be willing and able to submit and pass pre-employment testing to include background checks (MVR, drug test and physical)
