Sales Lot Attendant/Porter

Bayshore Ford is currently looking for a full-time lot attendant for our Sales Department.

Duties Include:
  • Keeping new and used inventory lot today and organized
  • Catalogs and store keys
  • Runs vehicles through Motor Vehicle Inspection
  • Maintains entire lot in orderly fashion
  • Assists Sales Dept. with day to day duties as needed

Job Requirements:
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Neat appearance
  • Able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must have valid driver's license, CDL preferred but not required, with good record

Full Time Service Lot Attendant/Porter

Bayshore Ford Truck Sales, servicing customers since 1976, is growing and we are expanding our Service Department. We are currently looking for a full time service lot attendant. 


Duties Include:

  • Provides transportation for customers
  • Moving customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility
  • Maintaining an orderly service parking area, lot and vehicle display
  • Retrieving customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with Bayshore Fords values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
  • Other duties may be assigned by management

Quick Lane Technician

Bayshore Ford Truck Sales, servicing customers since 1976, is growing once again and we are expanding our Quick Lane Service Department. We are seeking qualified entry level Lube Technicians and Technicians with a minimum of 1 year hands on professional experience. 


Must be able to perform the following:

  • Complete vehicle inspections, oil changes, tires, brakes, alignments and fluid replacements and routine vehicle maintenance
  • Explain and document in detail needed repairs to the Service Advisor
  • Maintain an organized, clean work area
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures

Parts Warehouse

Bayshore Ford, servicing customers since 1976, is expanding our parts department once again. We are looking for someone with experience to maintain adequate parts inventory while minimizing obsolescence; maintaining proper reporting and financial controls; and ensuring adherence to all practices and policies required to meet these objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds measurable guidelines for effective performance set by the dealership management team and based on generally accepted industry standards, including inventory days' supply, service level, true turn, stock versus emergency orders, 12-month "no sales", lost sales, special orders, outside purchases, etc.
  • Organizes and maintains the parts department in the most efficient layout
  • Establishes and maintains logical locations for all parts and notes location in computer by part number
  • Establishes and practices measures to deter department theft
  • Directs an annual physical inventory and maintains a perpetual inventory bin-maintenance system
  • Processes obsolete parts returns on a timely basis, ensuring eligibility of parts prior to return, per supplier requirements
  • Develops systems for receiving, shipping, logging, tracking and controlling all parts and related documentation daily
  • Verifies accuracy of cost-of-sale additions on outside and/or non-system purchases
  • Investigates and resolves any inventory discrepancies by month-end
  • Maintains professional appearance


Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clients
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
  • Communicate sales or service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions
  • Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future
  • Understand and comply with established guidelines that ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
  • Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required
  • Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies
  • Submit a variety of sales status reports as required, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals


Requirements

Auto Body Tech

  • Straighten bent frames
  • File, grind and sand repaired surfaces
  • Aim headlights, align wheels
  • Repair or replace defective mechanical parts


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in an automotive industry
  • High School Diploma or higher, automotive training a plus
  • Flexible with hours and schedules
  • Valid drivers license
  • Must have own tools
  • Ability to work on a deadline
  • Must be willing and able to submit and pass pre-employment testing to include background checks (MVR, drug test and physical)

Parts Counter Person

Bayshore Ford/Western Star/Fuso/Quick Lane, servicing customers since 1976, is growing once again. We are looking for Experienced Parts Counter Personnel in our busy Commercial Vehicle Dealership. 



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pulls and fills orders
  • Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts/materials that need immediate attention
  • Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary
  • Notifies the service advisor and/or customer when special ordered parts arrive
  • Follows up on back ordered parts
  • Assists outside sales representatives with their orders
  • Keeps current on new products and product updates


Job Requirements:

  • Commercial truck and/or automotive industry experience preferred
  • Positive interaction with customers in person and via telephone are a must
  • Can do attitude
  • Ford and/or Medium to Heavy truck parts knowledge preferred but not necessary
  • Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Must be willing to submit and pass a background check and drug screen
